We supply fins/kickboards/buoys/etc. as needed at the pool.
Communication — Where to Watch:
Website → The schedule is always posted on the Calendar section of our website.
Commit Swimming → We email through Commit; enable push notifications in the app and keep an eye on email.
Pro tip: Add your preferred email(s) in Commit, and enable notifications on the Commit Swimming App so you never miss short-notice schedule updates.
Practice Groups (Overview):
BSPC training groups, in order: Bronze → Silver → Gold → Advanced → Platinum/Diamond.
Group descriptions, skills emphasis, and movement criteria are on our website.
New swimmers may be evaluated for placement; space is limited and some groups may have waitlists depending on roster size.
Practice times, cancellations, and special events are listed on the website calendar and sent through Commit Swimming's Messaging service.

Meet Basics:
Coaches announce eligible meets on the website/Commit.
You’ll see meet info, timelines, and events there; we’ll guide first‑timers on how it works.
Heat sheets show the order of events and when your swimmer races; bring a sharpie and highlight your swimmer’s events.
Parents typically watch/cheer from the stands; volunteer roles (TIMING) may be offered but are not required.
Gear & Apparel:
Swimmers should provide their own goggles.
Training equipment is provided at practice.
If you want your own gear or a backup pair of goggles, local options are available (e.g., Swim Things in Blue Springs).
