The following section contains information regarding the Blue Springs Power Cats (USA Swimming / Missouri Valley) competition team.

Membership fees for the Year-Round Competition Team of the Blue Springs Power Cats (Emerging, Advanced, & Senior Groups) include monthly dues and the USA Swimming Yearly Membership Registration Fee.  See more information about each fee below:

ALL members of the Blue Springs Power Cats must complete their USA Swimming Membership Registration (and pay the registration fee) before they can begin practicing.

The Blue Springs Power Cats Swim Team offers three base training squads for our 18-and-under competition swim team.  We also offer a Masters Team for those who are older than 18 years old. The following progression chart outlines the pathway through our program and information about each group:

***All members of the Emerging Swimmers Group, Advanced Swimmers Group, and the Senior Swimmers Group are required to register with USA Swimming and pay the yearly membership fee.  You can find more information about the USA Swimming Membership Fee by clicking here. 

Blue Springs Power Cats Masters Team

The Blue Springs Power Cats Masters Team is a swim program designed for working adults, typically those older than 18 years old.  This group offers practice 4 times a week in the evenings.  Each practice will be coached by a member of the Blue Springs Power Cats Coaching Staff.

BSPC Masters Team Practice Schedule: 

Monday 7:00pm - 8:30pm

Tuesday 7:00pm - 8:30pm

Thursday 7:00pm - 8:30pm

Friday 6:00pm - 7:30pm

*This is our initial practice schedule.  If at least 10 swimmers sign up for the Blue Springs Power Cats Masters Swim Team, we will add a fifth weekly practice on Wednesdays at 7:00pm (at no additional charge).

BSPC Masters Team (18+) Registration and Membership:

• To join the Blue Springs Power Cats Masters Team, you must complete two forms of registration:

  • • Sign Up with the BSPC Masters Team through our Official Sign Up Form: https://forms.gle/uwUt9LrZPzW2RJtMA 

      • • The monthly dues for the Blue Springs Power Cats Masters Team are $75 per month.

    • Register with the organization United States Masters Swimming (USMS). All members must sign up and pay the USMS Registration fee before they begin practice.

      • • USMS offers two membership options: https://www.usms.org/join-usms/join-or-renew 

          • • Join at $70 - membership expires on Dec. 31, 2023

            • Join at $115 - membership expires on Dec. 31, 2024 (Save $25!)
