Advanced Group:

• Membership Info: The Advanced Group is designed to help beginner swimmers transition into more serious swimmers.  The priority of this group is to teach the swimmers how to start training while still focusing on skill development and mastering technique.

• Membership Fees: 

  • ALL Power Cat swimmers are required to be registered with USA Swimming: USA Swimming Membership Info 

  • Participants who show proof of enrollment from a BSSD school pay: $80/month 

  • Participants who are NOT enrolled in a BSSD school pay: $105/month 

  • Or

  • Swimmers can receive a 10% discount by paying for the entire season up-front:

• Duration: This Advanced Group trains for 11 months during the year.

  • The Advanced Group will not train in August 2026.

• Age Requirement: 10+ years old

• Group Minimum Requirement: Swimmers must be able to legally swim a 100 without stopping or assistance of all four competitive strokes (freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly).  Swimmers must be able to complete a 400-yard Individual Medley legally, without stopping.
