Gold Group

Gold Group:

Membership Info: Swimmers who know the basics of all four competitive swimming strokes are ready to join the Gold Group. This group focuses on helping swimmers become legal in all four strokes of competitive swimming while starting to work on the early stages of skill development (technique).

Membership Fees:
- ALL Power Cat swimmers are required to be registered with USA Swimming: USA Swimming Membership Info
- Participants who show proof of enrollment from a BSSD school pay: $70/month
- Participants who are NOT enrolled in a BSSD school pay: $95/month
- Or
- BSSD Students can receive a 10% discount by paying for the entire season up-front:
  - Participants who show proof of enrollment from a BSSD school pay: $630 (for 10 months of Gold Group)

Duration: This Gold Group trains for 10 months during the year.
- The Gold Group will not train in March 2025 and August 2025.

Age Requirement: 6+ years old

Group Minimum Requirement: All swimmers must be legal in all four strokes and can swim a 200 Individual Medley without stopping. Swimmers must also show the ability to listen/learn when the coach is teaching new skills/technique.
