Bronze Group

Bronze Group:

Membership Info: Swimmers who can swim the length of a 25-yard pool and are at least 5 years old are invited to join the Bronze Group to learn more about the sport of competitive swimming. This group focuses on getting swimmers comfortable in the water while teaching them the basics of competitive swimming. These practices are coached by members of the BSPC Coaching Staff who are joined by members of the BSHS Swim Team who will be in the water with these swimmers as In-Water Coaches. This group practices three times per week.

Membership Fees:
- ALL Power Cat swimmers are required to be registered with USA Swimming: USA Swimming Membership Info
- Participants who show proof of enrollment from a BSSD school pay: $60/month
- Participants who are NOT enrolled in a BSSD school pay: $85/month
- Or
- BSSD Students can receive a 10% discount by paying for the entire season up-front:
  - Participants who show proof of enrollment from a BSSD school pay: $540 (for 10 months of Bronze Group)

Duration: This Bronze Group trains for 10 months during the year.
- The Bronze Group will not train in March 2025 and August 2025.

Age Requirement: 5+ years old

Group Minimum Requirement: All swimmers must be able to swim the length of the pool
